Welcome, Microsoft/Xbox provided a copy of ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’ to me for review. This is the release version, 1.7.12.0. on launch on August 18th, 2020.
Pc specs are I9 9900K 64 GB RAM RTX 2080. Settings High at 4K, recorded and uploaded this video at 4K.
Flight Controls are the Virtual Fly: Yoko+, V3rnio+ and Ruddo+.
In this video I show you… well, I have to explain it. This last summer, a friend of mine, Gizmo, organized “Illegal Air races” in cities depicted in the old IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 simulator. I tried to mimic the one we flew in virtual Paris but finally made my own version flying the Extra 330. I adjusted the graphic config of FS2020 to have more FPS since the massive amount of buildings and trees made my Pc struggle in some moments.
Failed to organize a discord group for the race with my friends, so this is really a training.
I almost crashed on the rolling pass under Tour Eiffel due to low fps. In case you doubt if collisions are enabled or not, look ad the final landing attempt, when I deviated a little bit to the right after decrabbing for touchdown in Champs Élysées avenue.
At least it is a race trying to take into account major landmarks of this amazing city: Tour Eiffel, alrc de Triomphe, Grand Palais, Les Invalides, Louvre Museum, Notre Dame, La Defense, Champs Élisées Avenue…

How do you control the plane so easily … if i turn left … it takes me ages to straighten the plane again …. can i play this like GTA? where the plane auto centers ?? cause i got really annoyed stabilizing the plane … even when all the assist were On on Easy mode… please help

Nice vid, shame about the erratic framerate, if you went 1440p you’d get nice 60 fps maybe. Or if you need to stay on 4k, limiting the framerate at 30 fps to make it stable would make the game seem smooth.
