IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover – 58 planes air combat

Some graphic options lowered to get it smooth, like effects or ground details, but consider there were:
30 Wellington
12 Spitfire
8 Bf109
8 Bf-110
The 109 and the Spits does not appear, probably they established combat in a nearby zone.

Pc is: I7 920 OC 3300Ghz, 6GB RAM DDR3, GTX580, Corsair HX 1000W.

  1. You can now see why the RAF Bomber Command switched to night duties only after seeing just how vulnerable the bomber crews were in daylight.

  2. My recollection of the original is that if you even thought about approaching a bomber from behind, the AI gunners killed you stone dead instantly – I see they’ve fixed that.

  3. loool any news of a new il2 with war in the pacific i miss the old days that i had il2 complete edition on my computer the best game i ever played imo this and bf3 and i played a lot of games

  4. No, there is no Mustang in Cliffs of Dover. It centers around the Battle of Britain and the playables are all from that era. The best P51 simulator out right now is available in DCS World, though.

  5. Online air combat is my favorite genre, but I too wasn’t going to buy this because of the campaign. Can you explain to me how multiplayer works in this game? Is it more similar to aces high, or combat flight simulator with simplistic dogfighting? Thanks…

  6. Ive been playing 1946 for a long time… But im not sure if CoD is all that.. It looks beautiful tho, dont get me wrong… Its about how the planes handle. So what do you think?
