In this video I show you Mount Rushmore (USA). I I took off from Rapid City Regional Airport (KRAP). I simulated an electrical failure on the way back just to practice VFR flight. I landed at Ellsworth AFB (KRCA).
I was sad after finding out I couldn’t fly to mount Rushmore in the game. I guess ill just drive there if I wanna see it really bad.
This to me is very funny but…at one point I forgot that I was watching a video and not actually flying my sim that I could not understand why I couldn’t pan around.

Yeah… I hope MS patches this. Google Earth has the faces in 3D. And Microsoft is an American company…
I knew it! I was flying around between Mondell airport and Rapid City and just could not find mt rushmore anywhere. This game is cool but has a long way to go. I think most casual players like myself immediately try to find a famous site and are disappointed. MS should get back to work and release a monuments DLC.
Flight Simulator 5 on MS DOS didn’t look like much but at least had the Mt. Rushmore faces in it. Disappointed 🙁
The Crazy Horse monument nearby is also missing.
