Saturday, October 31st, 2015, my wife and me went to Empuriabrava aerodrome (LEAP), to accomplish one of my pending dreams: to jump in a parachute, a experience that she gave me a a wedding gift. I have some years flying in aeroobatic planes and gliders, always wearing a parachute on my back, but I’ve never used one, so I thought it was reccomended to try a jump to familiarize with its sensations.
My instructor in the jump is Pibe, and the cameraman is Bruno Brokken, both are great parachuting professionals in Skydive EMpuriabrava. Bruno is an international recognised cameraman, also known for finishing at an hospital after an ice bucket challenge in whinch an Air Tractor dropped over him his firefighting water drop.
After an instructor briefing and awaiting patiently, we board into the DHC-6 Twin Otter EC-ISV.
