Pc specs are I9 9900K 64 GB RAM RTX 2080. Settings High at 4K, recorded at 1080 with Windows Game Bar.
It’s not 100% photorealistic and there are some funny looking building models and textures here and there, but I’m a Madrid native and this is most impressive. I’ve been playing MFS since 1995, 5.0 I believe. My biggest disappointment with every MFS and Xplane I’ve ever played, apart from no fireball when crashing, was flying over areas I know and not being able to recognize anything. Guess I can scratch that one from the wishlist, the level of detail here is incredible.

Holy Toledo that city scenery is just breathtaking. This is a quantum leap ahead in realism, for Microsoft Flight Simulator, when so many had assumed FSX would be the last in the series. You must have one juggernaut of a computer to get those smooth frame rates right down close to the deck where the number crunching burden is heaviest. Fantastic flying too, by the way.

Yo creo que han conseguido este nivel de realismo gracias a que los mapas de Bing tienen una vista llamada panorámica, que no es desde arriba sino inclinada 45º desde los cuatro puntos cardinales, por lo que se dispone de imagen lateral de las fachadas o la vegetación con un control casi total de las alturas. Con estas 4 imágenes y con IA han podido generar esos miles de millones de modelos 3d de todo planeta con sus correspondientes texturas.
