Porto/Oporto (Portugal) + busy ATC on landing in Microsoft Flight Simulator Release version

Welcome, Microsoft/Xbox provided a copy of ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’ to me for review.
This is the release version, 1.7.12.0. on launch on August 18th, 2020.
Pc specs are I9 9900K 64 GB RAM RTX 2080. Settings High at 4K, recorded at 1080 with Windows Game Bar.
In this video I show you Porto/Oporto, Portugal, taking off and landing later from Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (LPPR).
Yes, maneuvers on Duero river are a remembrance of the great Red Bull Air Race course that was made there.
Check busy ATC on landing (real traffic from real world ADSB), ordered me a go around due to plane on the runway and I could’t even confirm clearance to land until on the ground due to busy radio.

  1. you’re telling me they have been working on this for 4 years, and the release version has mountaineous water? terrible water effects, even worst when you have a plane built for this.

  2. Official Kings Player

    ?

  3. How come all the ATC in this are American voices the Airport is in Portugal ?

  4. Go KHMP-KPDK in the Caravan. That would be such a good flight over downtown Atlanta. Its a short flight (less than 35 min)

  5. don’t worry this will be flop simulator ever made texture render from server is already a great lag🤣🤣

  6. Porto isn’t Porto without the Dom Luís bridge done right.

  7. I’m from Oporto, and I don’t think its too similar

  8. 4:20 <---- ironic as im lean as hell right now but im not paying 60 notes for them fuckups right there. ill wait untill christmas for the cheeper option HAHAH

  9. Can you go to Algarve, LPFR airport please, o really want to see the coast line and de terrain🙏

  10. Which plane is this?

  11. I was shocked seeing that the river isn’t flat! And seeing that the iconic bridges like the Arrábida bridge and specially the world wide known Luis I bridge are just wrong, the latter one being just a flat road almost at the river level when the real one is a bridge with two levels.

I think that they trusted too much in computer auto generated scenarios and neglected Key areas of the world. I bet that this look very great if you’re flying at 10000 ft or more but if you try to see different landmarks on a low altitude it’s just ridiculous. Also the terminal on the airport is just a joke almost reminded me FSx, the layout is similar but the aspect is not like the real deal. I woul expect more from a simulator like this, at least more details in international airports. I really hope that they improve on this. I was thinking about buying it but no longer.

  12. Shocked to see so many people criticism about realism. As a Porto resident I think is not perfect but it is amazing and by far the Simulator more close to the reality
