@TUCKIE10 Yea but not at our prices today. They raised abou 80% after a flood in Thailand. And the 1Gb time was 16 years ago , when I was born.

compared to Microsoft Flight Simulator (FSX) this game is cheap!
a high resolution scenary for switzerland would already cost almost as much as this whole game and still would not have the same quality.
This game is not really do displace FSX it is more like a addon (but it is a own game).. you still would play FSX if you want to fly outside switzerland and with bigger planes.
So this is a great a addition to FSX

I can’t decide if I like it or not. I don’t like the fact that the fuselage does not acquire damage, but this damage model as a whole is a vast improvement over FSX’s ‘Uh oh! You crashed!’ prompt…even though that is really all I care to hear in the end. DCS A-10C had a great model imo. This one feels like it is getting there BUT, given the developers prior endeavors, the planes still a bit bouncy/toyish if you know what I mean. Too light.

Pretty ingenious flight testing! I had no idea the planes broke up in such detail. I wish AFS had a replay mode which would let you select alternate views while the replay was in progress. They wouldn’t need to actually record the screen, just the data detailing all the relevant flight parameters. Replay would just re-fly the plane using that data.

This just makes me even more disappointed with M$F$ 2020 still pussing out on damage models. Oh well now they get to blame ‘licenses’ with airlines and 12 year old Youtubers instead of blaming 9/11.
Any sim that includes damage modelling will always see my cash before any game that doesn’t.
Don’t forget kids, while normal people cannot experience damage modelling, you can at least still use MSFS 2020 to practice your ability to fly real aircraft into buildings, but at least ‘Muricans feelingz will be protected.
