Atlanta (Georgia, USA) in Microsoft Flight Simulator Release version

Welcome, Microsoft/Xbox provided a copy of ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’ to me for review.
This is the release version, 1.7.12.0. on launch on August 18th, 2020.
Pc specs are I9 9900K 64 GB RAM RTX 2080. Settings High at 4K, recorded at 1080 with Windows Game Bar.
In this video I show you Atlanta, Georgia, USA, taking off from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (KATL). I switched plane and came back later because I saw some stunt possibilities in the scenario, I couln’t miss that chance!

  1. Can you go to the Norfolk International Airport to fly over Virginia? I just want to see my state so bad. It’s a great southern place with beautiful ocean fronts.

  2. Awesome vids! Would you do Tampa Florida please?

  3. That’s a lot of huge trees there. Is that some post apocalypse dlc?

  4. It looks fairly decent. The scenery is out of date with the Georgia Dome still there, Mercedes Benz Stadium under construction, and Turner Field still in the baseball config. Buckhead looked awesome. It did not get done by RealitySim. The Westin is missing the antenna though.

FS2002 default Hartsfield looked better than the way the airport looks in this version. I’m hoping that ImagineSim can get this airport done for FS2020 ASAP.

  5. No buildings at all Atlanta is so boring!😂

  6. Thank you so much for doing Atlanta! I’ve been requesting it from everyone I can, but nothing until now!

  7. 5:24 flew right over my house lol

  8. Finally Atlanta!

  9. Horribly unrealistic, the highways were not clogged with traffic 😂

  10. Wow, it’s really rendered Georgia Tech very well.

  11. Apart from the outdated scenery, this looks crazy good. Literally the only thing missing is a traffic jam on the Connector.

  12. Even the civil rights museum was still under construction?

  13. Thank you for this

  14. 2:04 dude, fasten your seatbelt

  15. They even got the big cigarette. Lmfao

  16. Lookin’ good! Though the map is very outdated as you can see the Georgia Dome and the construction for the Mercedes-Benz stadium. Bing Maps is pretty outdated, unlike Google Maps, which is fairly up to date. Still, very stunning.

  17. It’s bull crap that it’s only pc this is exactly why I’m getting a ps5

  18. Daniel Flaherty

As a native, that view of the city from the cockpit looks so real! The buildings may not be all up-to-date, but the graphics are insanely close to real life.

  19. A sad falcons Fan

    Thats awesome lol

Should make hartsfield a hand crafted airport. Come on now. Its one of the biggest

  21. This is insane compared to FSX. The airport looks better on FSX default but hopefully imaginesim will come out with a 2020 version soon. Buck head/Lenox isn’t even rendered on FSX and the fact that Georgia Tech is so detailed is awesome. Bobby Dodd even has Georgia Tech written on the field!

  22. Fly out from Birmingham, AL or Charlotte, NC next!!!

  23. Taquarius Ezell

Can u do Hong Kong if u haven’t

  24. Welcome to Atlanta in…2016 everyone!!

  25. my home 😊

  26. I hope you are recovering from your crash. Keep posting! 😉

  27. I saw my apartment.

  28. Would love to see you fly over Savannah to Charleston

  29. Thank you for this! I miss Atlanta. I love Texas and the kdfw airport I’m right by but nothing beats KATL 😍

  30. Is there no options to remove all plane obstructions from view?

  31. Bart Youngblood

If they wanted to win a few bonus points, they should have left one of the “T”s off of Tech Tower.

  32. R. Scott McDonald

I barfed a few times after the herky-jerky camera work- but it’s pretty amazing the details and on your high end PC.

  33. I want to land on the 15th fairway at Augusta National.

  34. Someone’s gonna be so excited to fly over Mercedes Benz Stadium, and then….

  35. Why do they have the Georgia Dome and not the Benz

  36. Great flying. Very impressive.

  37. MotherQuacker •

I saw people rioting down there 11:10

  38. This is outdated. It still has the Georgia dome and mercadies Ben’s stadium being built

  39. Could you imagine driving down i-85 and seeing a damn plane doing stunts around the buildings XD *Car accidents intensifies*

  40. When I die and I’m on my way to hell, I’ll have a 5 hour layover at ATL.

  41. were u on medium settings

  42. Crosses over every single runway after takeoff 😂😂

  43. Can you do one of Gainesville Georgia please!!and oak wood georgia

  44. Turner field before Georgia state bought it

  45. I know this is outdated from a few buildings still under construction, but there are some other things. You can see the tops of some of the skyscrapers from the airport, and you should be able to see Stone Mountain. I also did not see Kennesaw Mountain while looking NW over downtown.

  46. It’s crazy to think my house is here 💀

  47. Clayco Publishing, LLC

The fact that all of our houses are basically 3d generated in this simulator… Art has officially imitated life.

  48. Kristin Pinnell

I live here and I really would love to learn how to get Atlanta airport or if it comes with it
