Pc specs are I9 9900K 64 GB RAM RTX 2080. Settings High at 4K, recorded at 1080 with Windows Game Bar.

Wow, wery impressive. I know well this city, and the work in this simulator is amazing. Just one thing, i think is a little dark. The real Barcelona is in the maditerranian and the light usually is more brigthness. I think also the position of the sun is atipycal.

I think you have to put the 3d maps in ultra settings… because its looks like Google maps loading …. i saw your video in NY… i feel the same thing on 3d photorealistic objects…. put 3d scenery on ultra. If you really have a i9…64 ram.. and a RTX 2080…you can do it. 😀

They have a real problem in this. On the one hand, the landmarks and buildings are all there and recognizable, due to their scan and photogrammetry tech. On the other hand, it looks awful from up close. The buildings are often warped and look like they’re melting, some areas (eg. Plaça Catalunya), which are supposed to be flat are also badly warped (and they can’t simply solve this through procedural generation at a closer LoD, since they’re already presenting the real scan. Also, there’s not a single pedestrian, in a city which is overflowing with them. So, yea, I slot this into the «uncanny valley» folder. So close, but so wrong, precisely because it’s so close, but not quite.
