In this video I show you an extreme landing inside Roman Colosseum in Roma, Italy. For the takeoff I had not enough power to exit the arena, so I had to circle inside while climbing.
The plane is a Zlin Shock Ultra, a Short TakeOff and Landing (STOL) type, with tundra wheels capable of absorbing very rough landings. Enjoy!
I dedicate this video to my friend Gizmo, who organised extreme stunt missions in IL-2 Sturmovik this last confinement, with defying challenges to reach. That made us better pilots I think!

That takeoff….I was gonna describe it as like flying a helicopter in a living room, but really, it’s literally like a STOL takeoff in the Colosseum.
