Airbus A320 Runway Excursion in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020: Copilot Unable to Brake on Runway

Just as a test, decided to leave the controls to the AI copilot and sat myself in a passenger seat, just to enjoy the views of the approach to Innsbruck Airport (LOWI). And this is what happened; the copilot was unable to brake on the runway, overran it and ended in a runway excursion, surely with some damage to the plane. Crashes were ON but it was not detected as a crash.
Microsoft/Xbox provided a copy of ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’ to me for review. This is the version 1.8.3.0.
